Why is there an email been triggered when i do a location search.? Es un fallo que deben solucionar... por el momento yo no puedo usar la app si sigue con correo de notificación

Why do you repost the info guide when the situation i am having is not listed on it. I keep an eye on the kids when they are out and now i get a message saying an email was triggered to thier email address. i paid for this app so fix the issue or give an update.

This happened to me as well this morning for the first time. Said it sent an email notification on one one of the iPhones I'm tracking but not the other. I've never seen this before, seems random. Did it really send an email notification or was the message itself in error? Either way, please fix the bug. Thanks!

En mi caso tengo también 2 iphone rastreados y desde la actualización si envía correo de notificación, además salió un mensaje en la app xfi advirtiéndolo.

Yes an email was sent and now one of my kids (older teenager)has changed his password leaving me in the dark. This app has been great most of the time but this email alert has screwed this all up. But xfi will just repost the instructions guide instead of issuing a statement.

But xfi will just repost the instructions guide instead of issuing a statement. Those are forum users reposting the FAQ, which, I agree, isn't helping the issue at hand. The email notification is a result of Apple and their security alerts. XFi works by logging into the Apple account, requesting GPS location, then displaying that location on the map. Apple (now) sends the email notification that "someone" logged into the Apple account. The XFi developer will need to find a way to make their app login without triggering an Apple notification. This is what we're all very eagerly awaiting...

Una duda... tengo dos iPhone registrados y solo localicé uno de ellos y envío correo de notificación al correo, si abro el otro también lo hará? Toda vía estas con el problem del email? Hoy cuando entré a la aplicación rapidito mandaron un correo avisando.. Porque este problema? Puede el arreglarlo que Apple no se de cuenta? Que opina? 🤔

Why do you repost the info guide when the situation i am having is not listed on it. I keep an eye on the kids when they are out and now i get a message saying an email was triggered to thier email address. i paid for this app so fix the issue or give an update. I'm so upset.. My daughter received an email from Apple alerting her someone signed in.. Can something be done about this.. I love this app... Can the app fixed to block apple?

Was this the first time you setup the app and tracked her phone? It's already known that it does it ONCE, the first time, but it's not supposed to after that. However, it now seems to send an email alert randomly, or at least says it does. Happened to me a couple weeks ago, but not since. Did you also get a warning in the app that an email was sent, or did you just find out from your daughter?

Question.... So I downloaded this app on my phone. But if I lose the phone how can I find it? App not available on ipad..... We will release an app to Apple App Store. For the time being, you need another Android to find another.

Hi I have bought a new phone (Android) and copied my data across from my old phone but XFI Locator doesn't accept my login credentials. Also if click forgot pin I don't get an email to recover etc? Is there someway I can recover my login credentials to make the app work on my new phone.?

xfi is not signing into to any of the phones I have to find them. They are all iphones.

A mi de momento me funciona bien, tengo 2 iPhone asignados y solo en uno mandó notificación al correo, con previo aviso al abrir xfi, por ahora todo correcto.

The problem is that Apple changes the security behaviour on the backend, so there must be found a way to not trigger the random emails send to the owner / user of the IPhone. You know a way, then please let us all know - else don't shout .

Después de algo más de 1 mes sin ningún problema, hoy al abrir xfi me sale un mensaje que dice que se va a mandar un correo de notificación 🤦♂️, no te da opción a rechazar la búsqueda del dispositivo sinó que directamente lo envía y al dispositivo. Seguimos esperando que se solucione este problema ya que directamente cambiando la contraseña de Apple id y la app no sirve para nada...
