Does the app notify the phone that us being tracked when a location is requested? I know iCloud sends an email so I'm curious if this app woukd do the same?

Hey! Is it possible to search a mobile phone in Lome, Togo (Westafrica)? Someone stole the phone of my brother and his girlfriend there and I would like to help them from abroad. So right now I'm in Germany and I found this Forum. Can yall help me? Is it even possible to find it? Or am I just waisting my time.

Question.... So I downloaded this app on my phone. But if I lose the phone how can I find it? App not available on ipad..... We will release an app to Apple App Store. For the time being, you need another Android to find another.

I downloaded and installed the app on my phone and a family members phone. We are prone for having our phones lost or stolen. Anyway, I missed naming the phones during the setup. I removed the phones from the list. I then tried to uninstall the app. It went through a process but didn't remove. I then tried again and it said Deactivate. I clicked Deactivate and now I get a messages that says I need to "Deactivate" the service before uninstalling. I am clicking deactivate, thats the only options I have. Anyone run into this problem?

Welcome. Post your questions, comments here ... This may answer some of your questions: If xFi Locator has been working fine, and you now see a message "Failed to retrieve location data from server" - Try to remove saved login and re-enter it back. Can't locate Android device?- If xFi Endpoint is installed and xFi Locator can't find device, make sure the the device is registered and the xFi endpoint shows "Device is registered" message. Also, make sure "Location" service is turned on on the target device where xFi Endpoint is installed. Location of target device is inaccurate?- Without GPS turned on, location of the target device is just approximate and may be way off. You can turn on GPS on target device to get more accurate location but GPS can drain battery quickly, so that may not be an option. The app has no control over the accuracy of the device location. Without GPS, location accuracy just depends on many factors such as how many cell towers in the vicinity, location record of the WIFI router, location determination method used by cellphone carrier, etc. So, just keep in mind that location shown for target devices sometimes can be accurate and sometimes can be off. Need to locate xFi Endpoint device from any device such as iPhone, iPad or a desktop? use this web application at this URL: xfiLocator.com

I tried to install locator at my PC. I couldn't log on (I didn't remember either my username and pass, so I fib my username but still didn't remember my password). When I tried to logg on I was refused for wrong user or pass. I remembered my pass, but XFi didn't recognize it. I tried again and than try another one, which I often use. After I was refused again, I changed my password, but I was told that my account is blocked. I found that it will be blocked for the next 24h. Now, 24h are passed and I try to logg into my account but still couldn't. I don't know if I should logg in with the pmfirst password (what I wrote that I obviously put it as wrong) or I am to logg in wit changed password? I don't want to do wrong and to lock my account for another 24 hours. Please, give me some advice and help me.

username is case sensitive. You need to enter exactly how it was registered. For example, MyName@Domain.com wouldn't be the same as myname@domain.com.

Used it daily for years, But since yesterday I'm getting 'unable to log in' alot, at first intermittently but since 2 hours, steady.
The user/pass hasn't changed (and ate saved in the app) nor any settings on the target device.
Target is an iphone 5s.

the app is allowing me to log in to find android devices but not iPhones. I have used it before but all of a sudden today it won't let me log into the iOS to track iPhones. I even saved both log ins. I am using an android phone (not sure if that is relevant)...why is this happening?

Is there an issue logging into icloud from xfi? I have 5 children and I am unable to login to any of their accounts from xfi. I am able to login from a web browser with no issue.

Mine is doing the same as your saying that I am unable to log in. I've deleted the app, cleared the cash on everything and reinstalled it. Even deleted and retried my passwords which are the same. It still will not let me use the app. This application was working for weeks. All the sudden this morning I started getting an unable to log in, I've tried what the user above tried and have restarted my phone. I can locate my daughter's phone (iPhone 7plus) using icloud.com on my computer, but this application xFi Locate Pro is not able to log in. Any other ideas to try?

It worked for a while this morning but has stopped. I can locate the iPhone 7 plus. Is there a technical help line we can contact the vendor?

I used the free version for a couple of years, and two days after I paid £5 for the ad free version - it stops working! Can't log in.
Have I been robbed?
