Hi guys it got an update and it works again now but please bare in mind the people on here that are so eager. If your locating your partner that don't no someone just previously mentioned it sends an email. Everytime you log in.

NOT GOOD if it always sends an email alert to the iOS user when trying to use XFI discreetly. This (email alert) might be the only way to patch iOS account access for the short term but the development team will need to find a better solution for the longer term - otherwise, this app fix will be useless to me.

It's working now,I just go to app store and find the Xfi locator for Android,there is button "upgrade",tap it for one second, the app come back!
This is a great App for someone who needs that service period!

what is the reason that sometimes you won't be able to see the device at all at the map, nit even grey, while 2 days before it was located the device. Could be be possible that when the device has been offline for more than 24H it won't even show the grey circle but nothing at all?

Admin,can you confirm that the suggested fix is for the free version only?
I only have the xFi Locator Pro version installed and still cannot find the IOS devices, due to Login failures. The IOS user must accept the Terms & Conditions to updated their device. Which they did.
What instructions do you have for the xFi Locator Pro users.

I still can't log in. I verified the username and password by getting into find my iPhone app on icloud. I have a one year no ads subscription on the xfi locator lite. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but still doesn't accept the log in.

why wouldn't you update the pro version? Graphics are much better on pro and I have paid for it. is it a way to force us to purchase the no ads licence? it's not fair. Will update this page as information becomes available Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)This may answer some of your questions: If xFi Locator has been working fine, and you now see a message "Failed to retrieve location data from server" - Try to remove saved login and re-enter it back. Can't locate Android device?- If xFi Endpoint is installed and xFi Locator can't find device, make sure the the device is registered and the xFi endpoint shows "Device is registered" message. Also, make sure "Location" service is turned on on the target device where xFi Endpoint is installed. If the Android device can be only located occasionally, do the following on the target Android device that has xFi Endpoint installed:. - Go to Settings/App/xFi Endpoint/Permissions/Location and make sure "Allow all the time" is checked - Go to Settings/App/xFi Endpoint/Mobile data/ and check both"Allow background data usage", "Allow app while Data saver on" - Go to Settings/App/xFi Endpoint/battery and check "Allow background activity" - Go to Settings/App/xFi Endpoint/battery, select "Optimize battery usage", select "all" and make sure that "xFi" is unchecked(off). Without GPS, location accuracy just depends on many factors such as how many cell towers in the vicinity, location record of the WIFI router, location determination method used by cellphone carrier, etc. So, just keep in mind that location shown for target devices sometimes can be accurate and sometimes can be off. Need to locate xFi Endpoint device from any device such as iPhone, iPad or a desktop? use this web application at this URL:xfiLocator.comMy target Android device can only be located when it is on Wifi?- Go to settings/Apps/xfi and make sure "Allow background data usage" is checked. What is the FOCUS button for? If there are multiple devices on the same account, the map will automatically zoom into the focused device.
