This may answer some of your questions: Can't locate Android device?- If xFi Endpoint is installed and xFi Locator can't find device, make sure the the device is registered and the xFi endpoint shows "Device is registered" message. Also, make sure "Location" service is turned on on the target device where xFi Endpoint is installed. Location of target device is inaccurate?- Without GPS turned on, location of the target device is just approximate and may be way off. You can turn on GPS on target device to get more accurate location but GPS can drain battery quickly, so that may not be an option. The app has no control over the accuracy of the device location. Without GPS, location accuracy just depends on many factors such as how many cell towers in the vicinity, location record of the WIFI router, location determination method used by cellphone carrier, etc. So, just keep in mind that location shown for target devices sometimes can be accurate and sometimes can be off. |

The map for some reason isn't displayed when trying to locate. It just shows a gray grid. Map doesn't load. |

Question.... So I downloaded this app on my phone. But if I lose the phone how can I find it? App not available on ipad..... We will release an app to Apple App Store. For the time being, you need another Android to find another. |

Is there a fix for the android 11 update?
The update hasn't got an option to have location services on all the time.
Which makes the android part of this app stop working.

This app does not work on Android any more.
Android 11 has no option to keep location on all the time like it used to.
The developer needs to tell android that it requires always on location.
All the options the developer is posting here are not relevant to the new android 11 software.
Can this be fixed?

When you have multiple devices on one account there needs to be a way to set a default device. Currently the default is all devices. You can select one device but if you turn your phone and the display changes it goes back to all devices so you have to select just one again. |

Auto refresh doesn't always stay on and has to be selected over and over. We purposely stop the auto refresh after a period of time to avoid draining the battery on the target device. We can extend that time a little bit longer. We'll try to implement these in future releases. |
