I think this app just went down the toilet, the best app until recently with the new changes. Oh well off to find a new solution, bye xFi after years of usage!!!

The new update to the app makes it useless, useless, useless, useless: 1. If your phone is lost or stolen and you're trying the locate it, how can you get the code from the target device? ? 2. If as a parent, you're trying to maintain the safety of your children, how can you get the code from the target device? ?? It baffles me that the developer did this to a good app to make it useless. I would very much like to hear the reason, may be there is a good reason but regardless the app is useless now. If possible, please change it to the way it was before the latest update. Thanks

App seemed useless after update, but here's what makes it work: The iPhone you're tracking will have a notification that someone is trying to login to their iTunes acct. Allow it, then enter the pin it provides into the xfi app when it asks for it. The iPhone will get one more bogus notification, but after that, it's all good. No more pin numbers and no more notifications on the iphone. I bet this is some new security crap that Apple has added in their end.

Code is invalid, but if you hit cancel you can still track but the other device gets a notification that you accessed the account. Was a great app until this fiasco.

I got the code actually, but when I inputted it, code was "invalid". I hit cancel, still can track for a bit but the phone you're tracking gets a notification that someone is accessing Apple id. Then app "fails to locate device". Such a waste, gone is peace of mind.

So I have done the enter code and tapped OK. Three times now. I thought this was only supposed to happen one time??? You don't need to do this anymore if you update to the latest release, 1.6.4.

Works perfect now again, thank you!
This problem before was from Apple I guess? I have also an old iPhone 4 in use as tracking device only (for the car) and with iOS 7 there was no code request.

I upgraded to version prior to 2.6.4 Pro. No problem with locating Andriod devices. No problem with login to and locating iOS devices, after entering requested passcode for each iOS account. I upgraded to 2.6.4 Pro. No problem with locating Andriod devices. I can no longer login to iOS devices. I have removed one of the iOS accounts and still cannot login to recreate the account. I am afraid of uninstalling the Pro version because I cannot loose the logins for the existing iOS accounts and I am concerned about re-licensing the application. Is anyone else having problems with login to existing iOS accounts? If you where having problem, how did you fix login problem? Thank you

Works great since the update 1.6.7 and 1.6.8, can find all devices, no asking for code, etc..works like it always did, may I suggest that if something happens to the app, like what happened a few days ago when you had to enter a code on the phone, that you put a warning on the log in screen, so people don't log in and the phones don't give off a message, this caused serious problems for some people and a warning that the app changed will give people a heads up and you don't get into an ugly scene with your kids. Thank you for your great app!!

I just updated to 1.6.7, cannot log in, tried again, needs code, hit cancel because I cannot get code, and app logs in but still generates a pop up on tracked device.

I have been using xFiLocator Pro v2.6.7 for a while now and it has been great. As you are aware the latest Apple IOS has implemented 2 way authentication When I connect from my Andriod xFiLocator to the Apple Device I am asked for a Verification Code. I enter the code and then all is good. For the next few times I can locate the device hassle free then suddenly I need to enter the code again The verification just seems to drop off for no reason Not sure if an Apple or xFi problem Are you aware of this issue or would you know how to stop it happening

I have updated to 2.6.9 Pro. No problem with Android or iOS devices. iOS login fixed. I did not have to remove my existing iOS accounts. I did not have to un-install and re-install xFi Locator application. iOS devices no longer request code for two-hand authentication. Back to the good old days. I am happy that the author(s) are listening to the end users and responding quickly to our complaints. Thank you
