Why is xfi showing me locations that my friend isnt even there

username is case sensitive. You need to enter exactly how it was registered. For example, MyName@Domain.com wouldn't be the same as myname@domain.com. I went onto my PC and I am unable to register for an account. It tells me that Failed to create an account or email already has an account. I don't know what else to do. Am I supposed to register at xfiLocator.com with any email address if my choice then register the devices? If that's the case then it's not working either |

Also, does the xFI Endpoint have to be downloaded on all the devices such IOS andvAndroid?

This is a request for the author to add the ability for the user to change/edit the device name in the 'Manage Devices' page. If the user forgets to enter a name when registering the device then the default name of the device (phone) is used. If there is two or more of the same phone then it is difficult to locate the specific phone on the map. When multiple dots with the same name show up then it is hard to know determine who is who.

I keep getting this error message "Sorry! Something went wrong. This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details." when trying to locate a device on www.xfilocator.com on my browser (Mozilla Firefox). I can log in just fine, it is just the browser is not loading up the map. How to fix this problem? |

I had this app last year when I lost my iPhone. I never found it because it said to verify with the phone, but I list it.. did they fix this problem? If I lose my phone again will it require me to enter the pin on the lost phone? Thanks

I need to find/recover the saved password for an iCloud profile, how would I do that?
Please assist, I have had a death in the family and this app is the only location of password. Very personally valuable pictures are on a locked phone that I can access if I can see what password xfi is using. Thank you so much.

Maybe this has already been asked and answered..
Would it be possible in the future to combine separate xFI logins on the same map?
Example.. I have a single login for multiple Androids, but each iPhone has a different iCloud account. I would like to pull up one map and show everything together.

Does this mean phone has been in that location Quick question: when i am trying to locate a device (iPhone 4) it will give me a location a few miles away from where the phone actually is. It will stay on this location for a few refreshes, then will suddenly move to a different location, stay for a few refresh cycles, then suddenly move to the location where the phone actually is. Sometimes the false location is an actual house, sometimes the middle of the desert...Not a complaint, because I love this app, just wondering if this is normal behavior for the app, or if it is server related. Thanks for writing us.
That is the expected behavior. To further explain why it behaves so, this is how the app works:
- When the app just comes up, it just displays whatever location it can get. This usually is an old, stale location, a location of the device sometime it the past. It then waits for the device to send a new fresh location.
When a new fresh location received, the dot is gradually animated to move from old stale location to new location of the map. Its color also changes from grey to green to indicate location is fresh.

My son has xfi endpoint on his phone and I have the master version on my phone. I have used it successfully in different countries in Europe for most of a year.However it doesn't appear to be working when he is in USA .
It opens the map but the icon doesn't show.
Appreciate your input.
